What is the relationship between wear resistance of double-compound wear-resistant hammers? The hammers with good wear resistance have a long service life in work, so wear resistance is one of the main factors in the production of hammers. What factors are related to wear condition of double-compound wear-resistant hammers? How should different mechanical equipment choose double-compound wear-resistant hammers?
1. Small and medium-sized crushers with grain size less than 200 mm usually use hammers with a single weight of less than 50 kg. Because the impact force is relatively small, alloy high manganese steel or medium-low carbon alloy steel with upper carbon content should be selected.
2. Small crushers with grain size less than 50 mm usually use hammers with single weight less than 15 kg. Because of less impact force, it is not suitable to select high manganese steel, and composite hammers are more suitable.
3. The service life of ultra-high chromium cast iron with high toughness is 3-5 times longer than that of high manganese steel because of the moderate impact force on the hammer head of fine crusher with grain size less than 100 mm.
Material properties, hammer head linear velocity and grate slot size are all related to wear degree of double composite wear-resistant hammer head. The difference of these factors will be quite different, so reasonable selection of materials is very important.
